Position : Manufacturing Project Engineer (Code: AXIS/10/400)

No of positions : 4

Requirements:

Only people with a very strong machining background should apply
Machining knowledge of turning, boring, drilling, tapping, hobbing, shaping, gear grinding will be needed
Ability to read blueprints and CMM lab reports is required
Understanding of fixture design and machining processes is critical
Experience in Gear Manufacturing desired
CNC Programming and tool design capability using NX graphics software will have preference
6 sigma experience a plus, as all projects will be run using DMAIC methodology
Cost justification and follow up to validate the savings is required
Candidates must have good communication skills and be proficient in MS Excel and general computer software use
4 year degree in Mfg Engineering or similar preferred. (Not mandatory, but definately a big advantage)

Scope:

Job involves process improvement through cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and set up reduction, as well as tool cost improvement. All aspects of the processes used will be examined.
There are 30+ projects identified at this time
Depending on the skills of the individuals, these 30 projects will take from 1 to 2 years to complete
Duration of this employment will be maintained as long as the team is paying for themselves through cost reduction activity
Job will be 80% on the shop floor and 20% office environment

Position : Systems Analyst

Seeking a systems analysts for the design and development of applications for Marketing Data Warehouse and Revenue Analytics. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engg or related, and 24 months' relevant experience in the field. We will consider candidates with considerable experience in lieu of a BS degree. Position : Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer - Peoria, IL (Code: AXIS/10/300)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans and coordinates production procedures in manufacturing of large earthmoving equipment and off-road machinery.
Handles development of new, innovative and lean production assembly processes and is able to do cost estimation of Assembly Processes.
Drives continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
Develops, evaluates, and improves PFMEA's, manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Writes workflow and process manuals to maximize efficiencies in new and established processes.

Qualified candidates will possess:

BS in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
1 to 3 years of work experience with writing workflow/process instructions
Prior experience with AutoCAD or ProE and CAPP+ software would be beneficial
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead, monitor and manage various projects
Experience with automotive or heavy earthmoving equipment is preferred but not required

Position: Quality Control Engineers/Managers - Peoria, IL (Code: AXIS/09/200)

Qualifications:

MS in Industrial Engineering or a BS with significant industry experience
Experience with Quality Tools and Robust engineering methodologies

Duties:

Execution of projects using Quality Tools and Robust Engineering methodologies for large earth moving equipment.
To lead continuous Product/Process Improvement projects in order to resolve field issues.
To conduct warranty/failure analysis, as well as provide a supporting role, subject matter expert input, and execute tasks within cross-functional CPPD and NPI teams.
To act as liaison between Axis engineers in the US and India.
